Common Issues

1. Chinese Directory Names

  1. If the directory contains Chinese characters, it may very likely cause strange bugs. It is recommended to create an English folder named after the corresponding mainboard model and perform operations inside it.

For example, for the DC665 mainboard: Create a DC665 folder and work within it.

It is recommended NOT to use directory names containing Chinese characters.

2. Device Not Detected

  1. Some Qualcomm mainboards do not have the auto-power-on function enabled and require manually pressing the power button to be detected.

  2. Check if the USB cable has data transfer functionality. Some cables are only 2-core charging cables.

  3. Some data cables have compatibility issues, such as Huawei cables or Apple cables.

  4. Dual-ended Type-C cables may also have compatibility issues.

It is recommended to troubleshoot by swapping the data cable, mainboard, and computer one by one to identify the source of the problem.

3. Flashing Fails

  1. Note: Check the Flash type of the device. Under normal circumstances, [select UFS](/docs/guide/Guide_Qualcomm/Connect Board#22-select-device-flash-type).

  2. You can try upgrading to the default base package for the corresponding platform to avoid underlying system issues. Contact technical personnel to obtain the base package.
